As much as I hate giving this library 2 stars, I have to because the reading selection is too small.
Visitors will be required to wear a mask for the protection of the staff and fellow patrons. If you need a study table though, it might be tough because a good amount of people are there, especially during the summer time.i really like this library because they have good books and the librarians will help you if you need help finding a book. I've always been perplexed by the library hours, but it's not a hindrance to me personally. They do have a great selection of books, audio, and dvd, but if you are wanting the hottest book around at the moment there will be a wait because they will only have about two copies. The library experience will be a little different than normal due to the Covid-19 virus. A bit disappointed that the 2nd floor was being rented out for a wedding (congrats to the couple, but sucks when you pay…"Provide balanced, trustworthy, independent learning and recreational opportunities dedicated to sustaining a high quality of life for the community.Not sure why a library would choose Fridays to be closed! There's a play area with a lego table, bead table, felt wall and a box of play kitchen toys. The Carroll County District Library will re-open to the public on July 6th!
Lots of activities for children. They didn't just make my card dormant, I was actually booted out completely because it had been so long. I've used the printing service and the ebook service and I think the library has done a great job with this. Vending machines and water fountain at front!I like the facilities of this library as it's able to meet the need of many people. Unlike some other library systems in DFW, all Texas residents are eligible for Carrollton library cards (not required to live in Carrollton). Quiet place! I went in and got my library card today, and was eager to check some books out. Book a Study Room . Carrollton Public Library system was the first library card that I got when I relocated to DFW. Very convenient location on the newer and growing side of Carrollton closer to Plano off Hebron. Has study rooms that can be reserved over the phone or by walk in (when available).
