Now that it is my birthday, I bought the absolute version, and with a day and a half of reading, I say it is the best graphic novel I have ever read and the best version of watchmen I’ve ever read. Collection wise, Grapphitti Designs published the edition that set the bar for Watchmen years ago. Available Buy Now DC introduces DC Modern Classics, collecting groundbreaking, genre-defining works in new hardcover editions, presented in a beautifully designed slipcase. The pages, coloring and literally everything about it make it, hands down, THE version of The Watchmen to own. 1,000,000,000/5 stars for me Collection wise, Grapphitti Designs published the edition that set the bar for Watchmen years ago. I don’t understand why that happened. As most people know, writer Alan Moore & artist David Gibbons' The Watchman is one of the best graphic novel's ever written. Besides the story being phenomenal, this DC Modern Classics edition is beautiful. I will say the slip case is nice had it not been for that I probably would have rated it 2/5. Came in perfect condition, colors in the illustrations are great, pages are thick, and the added bonuses after each book (1-12) was stellar. This version of The Watchmen, the DC Comics "Modern Classics" "Black Label" Edition is a top of the line release of this book! Batman: The Killing Joke Deluxe (New Edition) An unparalleled amount of depth that went into only 12 issues and a mystery that’ll keep you at the edge of your seat the hole time makes for an AMAZING experience.
