Everyone knows that it is becoming ugly/badly organized. Valve was one of the best Western developers in the 2000s.Now they don't even bother with game development, the very thing that got them praise to begin with.Wow, what a depressing cluster fuck.

I bought a PCV valve for a 2003 Civic and I also bought one for a 2008 RAV4. I should definitely look into Source Filmmaker though! I've grown use to TF2 being neglected. I’m not sure if they are working correctly. As you can see, he isn't merely a game developer, but a highly motivated person who is always doing something in order to better himself and teach others.I've always wanted to work for Valve myself, but I'm only a level designer and Valve has always outpaced my ability to improve.

Not even so much as poor feedback systems, but what sounds like suppressed feedback. I bet Dota2 team probably the only functional team in Valve solely because Icefrog. But it will inevitably crumble. I cannot confirm this, but I read recently that a single digit number of Valve employees (like 6) work on the Steam client.

But then on top of that you have the Vive (lighthouse tech), their OS, the stupid ass steam gaming box, TF2 hats, Dota patches, and the occasional CS:GO M1A4 nerf.

No wonder they can't finish a game. Whether valve can resurrect what was good about them in the first place, or whether their strangle hold on the market eventually evaporates and someone else will usurp that place, it doesn't matter to me.Well this explains more than a few things. I don't care what your politics are, or what kind of pipe dreams you have. It would be a good idea for you to become capable of generating your own revenue using Valve's workshop for either Dota2, TF2, or CSGO. No wonder Valve has to hire people in who already have a game just about finished. Valve itself is far more interested in creating hardware and software. They have a listing on their jobs site for my exact position, but I feel like working at Valve requires the best of the best of the best, and I'm not sure if I really qualify.
