The movie is just fun, and more so than that, it is a fun way to escape the tedium the holidays can sometimes bring. The teens get locked in and forced to deal with a ghost.
This is (hopefully obviously) a movie with a bit of gory stuff in it, so if you aren't into that don't watch it. Watching a holiday movie on, say, March just isn't the same as watching it during the actual holiday season. Cinemark
I already mentioned the Santa vs elves one. Maybe you just need a break from the festivities. Yes, it has a Christmas theme and setting for all its stories,this is an anthology horror flick after all, but I wanted to see how they could use the setting to create a horror movie. October 23, 2015

Hell no Christmas Horror Story is actually very creepy. The ghost story at the school didn't do it for me simply because it just didn't really take many risks. Interwoven stories that take place on Christmas Eve, as told by one festive radio host: A family brings home more than a Christmas tree, a student documentary becomes a living nightmare, a Christmas spirit terrorizes, Santa slays evil. But for some folks in the small town of Bailey Downs, it turns into something much less festive. Not even Santa Claus is safe from the evil that descends on Bailey Downs, a small town that is suddenly plagued with malevolent spirits, zombie elves and Krampus - the anti-Santa Claus. Not to mention a Santa covered with blood.
Is A Christmas Horror Story on Netflix United States? It's fun, it's scary, it has something for every horror fan out there from the casual fan who will love the accessibility of the stories to the more hardcore nerdy horror fan who will recognize the name of Bailey Downs from the get go. However, with other stories taking place at the same time the ending was a little confusing with no closure to the other sub plots that I was keenly interested in.
I love watching christmas themed horror movies, and after moving house just before December I couldn't find the ones I normally watch.
